Effect of TE on cAMP concentration and its intervention by β blockers. The cAMP concentration was tested by ELISA in primary neonatal rat cardiomyocytes. The cells were pretreated for 5 min with β-blockers (propranolol, atenolol and esmolol, respectively) before TE administration (60 μg/ml, 45 min).
