Effect of continentalic acid (10, 50 and 100 mg/kg) on LPS-induced nitrite concentration. The continentalic acid was assessed against the NO production in both plasma (a) and (b) tissue following establishing ALI. The continentalic acid treatment significantly reduced NO production in both plasma and tissue dose dependently. Similarly, the dexamethasone also markedly decreased the NO production in the both plasma and tissue. The results were shown in percentage. All data were expressed as mean (n = 8) ± SD. ###p < 0.001 compared to control group; *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 and ***p < 0.001 compared to LPS-treated group
