Table 1 Male and female mice fed emodin for 12-weeks do not show differences in body composition and major organ weight. Lean mass and body fat percentage (%) were measured using DEXA scan. Liver, spleen, mesenteric fat, and epididymal fat were measured in milligrams (mg). Tibial length was measured in millimeters (mm).
