The figure shows the effect of arsenite, CoQ10 and DMSA on IFN-γ, TNF-α and IL-10. Male Swiss mice were treated with 15 mg/kg arsenite daily for 45 days. Two groups of mice were receiving 50 mg/kg DMSA or 200 mg/kg CoQ10 alone while another group of mice were treated using combination of the two. After the 45-day treatment period, mice were sacrificed, blood was drawn and serum was obtained and analyzed for cytokine levels using Sandwich ELISA. The bar graphs represent levels of serum IFN-γ (a) and TNF-α (b) and IL-10 (c). Data was analyzed using one-way ANOVA and Tukey’s post-hoc test. Bars represent ± SEM.
