H & E staining of renal sections after Busulfan injection: (a, d) No adverse were seen effects on renal tissue after injection of 5 mg/kg of Busulfan via IT compared to the control rats (b, c) Following IP injections of Busulfan, focal hyperemia, hyaline casts, extensive renal tubules necrosis, swelling and degeneration without glomerulitis were seen in the renal tissue sections. Our findings showed notable renal toxicity in rats that received 40 mg/kg IP Busulfan which was quite severe than 10 mg/kg rats. Images scale bar; 50 μm.
