CXB inhibited mTOR signaling pathway and downstream molecules. A-E NPCs were treated with IL-1β alone or with 10 µM CXB. 200 nM RAPA was added in addition to IL-1β and CXB as a positive control. Phosphorylation of mTOR, Akt, rpS6, and 4E-BP1 were analyzed for activity relating to autophagy, cell growth, and mRNA translation.
