Narasin selectively inhibits growth and induces apoptosis in osteosarcoma cells. (A) Measurement of BrdU incorporation showed proliferation level in osteosarcoma and osteoblast cells. (B) Annexin V and 7-AAD double staining was used to determine cell apoptosis by flow cytometry. Annexin V(+)/7-AAD(-) and Annexin V (+)/7-AAD(+) cells were considered as apoptotic cells. Proliferation and apoptosis were measured after 72 h narasin treatment. *, p < 0.05 represents significant difference compared with cells without narasin treatment
