Effects of CAM on intracellular ROS levels in SAECs stimulated with H2O2. Intracellular ROS levels were measured using flow cytometry with the fluorescent probe CDF. Samples were obtained from control cells, from cells stimulated with 100 μM H2O2 alone, or from cells pretreated with 1 μM, 5 μM or 10 μM CAM for 72 h before stimulation with 100 μM H2O2 for 0.25 h. CDF (1 μM) was applied to cells for 0.25 h before stimulation with H2O2. Data are presented as means ± SD of four independent experiments. **p < 0.01 vs. control cells
